Idukki: A case has been registered against an SDPI leader for allegedly hurting religious sentiments. The case was filed against SDPI leader Vazheparambil Harris Hydros, a resident of Murickassery, Idukki. The legal action stems from a defamatory post made by Hydros on Facebook, which was purportedly aimed at challenging the Hindu community and the Supreme Court regarding the Ram Temple Prana Pratishtha ceremony, potentially inciting communal discord.
The contentious post also reportedly contained derogatory remarks aimed at the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). The post also contained a threat stating that the purported RSS headquarters built in Ayodhya would be demolished, and a mosque would be erected in its place.
