Idukki: A man died after being attacked by a wild elephant in Munnar. The deceased has been identified as Suresh Kumar, also known as Mani, a native of Kannimala Estate. Two other members of Suresh Kumar’s family were also injured in the attack. Esaki Raja, a native of Kannimala, and his wife Regina were among those injured and have been admitted to the hospital.
The tragic incident occurred on yesterday evening. According to reports, they were traveling in an auto when a wild elephant chased them and attacked. Suresh Kumar, who was kicked by the elephant, was rushed to the hospital but could not be saved. His daughter Priya narrowly escaped the wild elephant attack.
