Thoothukudi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has severely criticized the former UPA government for not launching development projects of Tamil Nadu. PM was address gathering today at Thoothukudi, after inaugurating multiple development projects worth Rs 17,300 crore in Tamil Nadu.
PM Modi questioned what the UPA government had done so far for the development of Tamil Nadu. Modi also said that, the truth is bitter but it is necessary to say it.
The development projects that have been laid in Tamil Nadu today are demanding by the Tamil people for some decades. But, the UPA government doesn’t fulfill the Tamil Nadu’s requirements.
He also said that Tamil Nadu is scripting a new chapter of progress in Thoothukudi as inauguration and foundation stones are being laid for multiple development projects for the country. Modi also said that the projects inaugurated are a symbol of the concept of ‘Ek Bharatam Shrestha Bharat’.
