Wayanad: Siddharth’s family expressed gratitude towards the Governor for his action against Dr. M. R. Sashindranath, the Vice Chancellor of Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University in Wayanad.
Siddharth’s father, Jayaprakash, expressed his appreciation for Governor Arif Mohammed Khan’s actions, particularly suspending Dr. M. R. Sashindranath. The suspension order, issued by Raj Bhavan, cited serious lapses on the part of the university authorities in addressing the brutal attack faced by Siddharth ,a second-year student at Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (KVASU) in Pookode.
Jayaprakash conveyed his satisfaction with the Governor’s actions as the Chancellor of Universities. He praised Governor Arif Mohammed Khan, stating that Kerala got a Governor who stands firm and understands the responsibilities associated with the position.
Speaking to the media, Jayaprakash highlighted Governor Khan’s boldness and strong leadership qualities. He said that he was not aware of the Governor’s power and responsibilities prior to Governor Arif Mohammed Khan’s tenure. He said that he had a limited understanding of the Governor’s duties but now recognises the extent of the Governor’s position’s impact. He said that the Governor proved that his duties is beyond signing papers.
