Thiruvananthapuram: Siddharth’s family is protesting against what they perceive as insufficient charges imposed on the accused individuals. Siddharth’s uncle expressed dissatisfaction with the police’s handling of the case, urging them to press charges of conspiracy and murder against the accused individuals.
Siddharth’s uncle highlighted a complaint filed by a girl against Siddharth on February 18, whose identity remains undisclosed. Siddhart’s uncle alleges that this complaint was fabricated to deflect attention from the case and demands disclosure of the girl’s name.
Siddharth’s uncle said that this girl conspired with other students in the class and deceived Siddharth. Currently, five students in Siddharth’s class are accused in the case, and the girl should also be included in the accused list.
Siddharth’s uncle said that the accused individuals had a premeditated plan to harm Siddharth. Siddharth came to Neyyattinkara on February 15th to attend a festival. They used a student named Rahan to bring Siddharth back to college. They harmed Siddharth like no external injuries was visible on his body. Moreover, Siddharth’s uncle claimed that there was a conspiracy to conceal the incident.
Even when Siddharth’s aunt called Akshay, Siddharth’s best friend, he assured her that Siddharth was fine and there were no issues and passed the phone to Siddharth. Siddharth’s uncle mentioned that Akshay’s name was not mentioned anywhere and emphasised that the police have not yet questioned Akshay.
Siddhart’s uncle asserts that the Student Federation of India (SFI) and certain classmates were behind Siddhart’s death and accuses the police of levying trivial charges against the accused individuals. Therefore, Siddharth’s uncle said that it is requested that justice be done by adding sections including an attempt to murder against the accused.
