Wayanad: The Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (KVASU) campus in Pookode, Wayanad, will remain closed from March 5 to March 10. The University Academic Director informed this decision following several protests by student organizations and various investigations related to Siddharth’s death at the university hostel.
The Academic Director also mentioned that regular academic classes and examinations would not be conducted from March 5 to March 10.
Meanwhile, all students of the hostel where Siddharth was found dead have been suspended. Everyone present at the hostel during the incident has been suspended for a week for failing to report the SFI’s brutal attack on Siddharth to the university authorities.
It is also informed that first-year students who were present in the hostel at the time of the attack have also been suspended. There were a total of 130 students in the hostel.
