Thiruvananthapuram: A high temperature warning has been issued in eight districts in the state today due to the rising temperature. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert in eight districts in Kerala due to this. Yellow alert have been issued in Alappuzha, Kollam, Kottayam, Thrissur, Palakkad, Kannur, Ernakulam, and Kozhikode districts.
The IMD forecasts suggest that Alappuzha, Kollam, Kottayam, Thrissur, Palakkad, and Kannur districts may experience temperature soaring to 37 degrees Celsius, while Ernakulam and Kozhikode districts could see temperature reaching up to 36 degrees Celsius.
Meanwhile, authorities urged people to follow the instructions given by the Health Department as a precautionary measure.
