Pathanamthitta: BJP leader Anil Antony expressed happiness over Padmaja Venugopal’s entry into the BJP. He said that many people like Padmaja will join the party. He also mentioned that the BJP’s growth is beginning in Kerala. Anil Antony made these remarks while speaking to the media in Pathanamthitta.
Anil Antony said that since Rahul Gandhi had started leading the Congress party, he had realized that the way the party was going was not right. He also stated that in the last ten years, about 100 people, including former Union Ministers and former Chief Ministers, had left the Congress and joined the BJP. He mentioned that he and Padmaja were the examples to prove this.
Anil Antony added that by forming the I.N.D.I. Alliance, the opposition parties are trying to fight against Modi, who is the biggest leader in the world. He noted that the BJP has started growing in Kerala. He predicted that if not today, the BJP would soon become the leading party in Kerala.
Anil Antony remarked that once this election is over, the Congress party in Kerala would be in ruins, and it was uncertain what will happen to the party members. He asserted that there was no point in staying in the Congress. He mentioned that he had joined the BJP under Modi’s leadership without any conditions. He stated that Padmaja has joined the BJP to stand with Modi’s vision like any other person who has joined the party.
