Thiruvananthapuram: Three contract workers of the Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) were brutally assaulted in Thiruvananthapuram. Ajeesh, Dinesh, and Sreekumar, who worked as contract workers for Aryanad KSEB, were among those attacked. The incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon at Kottoor, Kappukadu, Thiruvananthapuram.
According to reports, KSEB employees were unexpectedly attacked by assailants while they were taking a break after lunch. The gang arrived with deadly weapons and launched the attack. As a result, the employees sustained serious injuries and have been admitted to the hospital. A staff member mentioned that six individuals arrived on three bikes.
Five other contract workers were also injured during the attack. Complaints have also been raised that the assailants took money and a sovereign necklace from the workers.
