Thiruvananthapuram: Ration mustering has been halted in the state today as well due to unresolved server issues. Many people from different places in the state came for mustering. Several people are still waiting in front of the ration shops, hoping that the problem will be resolved. Since the start of mustering, ration traders and customers have been protesting due to the server failure.
Ration traders say that the problem of ration distribution in the state cannot be solved without changing the server of the e-POS machine used for distributing ration. Many people came for mustering yesterday but left without being mustered.
It was previously instructed that rice should not be distributed on the day of mustering. The Food Minister explained that the server for mustering was down due to the distribution of rice by some ration shop traders. It was informed that mustering will be conducted only for yellow card holders today and tomorrow. The date of mustering for pink card holders will be intimated later.
