Alappuzha: An Assistant Executive Engineer of KSEB (Kerala State Electricity Board) was brutally attacked by a group of employees for refusing them permission to attend a family meeting program of LDF candidate AM Ariff. The violent altercation occurred at the KSEB office in SL Puram, Alappuzha. The victim, Rajesh Mon, Assistant Executive Engineer, sustained severe injuries in the assault and was promptly admitted to Alappuzha General Hospital for medical treatment.
The culprits, identified as Overseers Sibumon and Sanjay Nath, sub-engineer Raghunath, and lineman Chanadran, collectively targeted Rajesh Mon. Notably, the employees involved in the assault are also members of the pro-CPM electricity workers association.
