Palakkad: Senior Congress leader Ramesh Chennithala commented that BJP will not be able to open account in Kerala this time too. He boldly stated that the BJP stands no chance of securing even a single seat in the state. The Congress leader said this as a challenge to the BJP and the Prime Minister while the Prime Minister’s roadshow was in progress, enthralling the people of Palakkad.

“This time also BJP will not open account in Kerala. With every visit by Modi to Kerala, the UDF candidates only stand to gain more support. I invite Modi to frequent Kerala so that UDF candidates will win with majority.” Chennithala emphasized that the people of Kerala will stand united against Narendra Modi and his policies. He said that the Prime Minister would come to realize this on the day of the vote count.

The Prime Minister’s roadshow in Palakkad drew a crowd of around 50,000 people. Spanning about one kilometer from Anchuvilakku to the Head Post Office, the event saw the participation of prominent BJP figures such as Prakash Javadekar, BJP Palakkad District President N. Haridas, and Palakkad Municipal Council Chairperson Pramila Sasidharan, who welcomed the Prime Minister upon his arrival at the helipad of Palakkad Mercy College around 10:30 in the morning.
