Sao Paolo: Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro said on Thursday that visiting Chinese and Indian tourists or business people shall not require visas to the South American nation.
Bolsonaro came to power at the beginning of the year and has made it a policy to reduce visa requirements from a number of developed countries. And now he has expanded this policy to the developing world too. He made the announcement during an official visit to China.
Earlier this year, the Brazilian government had dropped its visa requirements for tourists and business people from the United States, Canada, Japan and Australia.
However, those countries have not in return dropped their visa requirements for Brazilian citizens.
