New Delhi: According to latest report, two Indian crew members have also been tested positive for coronavirus infection on the Diamond Princess harboured at Yokohama on Wednesday.
TOI reported that altogether 174 people have tested positive, including two Indian crew members as stated by the Indian embassy. The embassy is also in touch with Japanese authorities on “the possibility of their disembarkation”.
“Due to the suspicion of novel coronavirus (nCoV) infection, the ship has been quarantined by the Japanese authorities till February 19, 2020,” the embassy said in a statement.
There are 138 Indians — 132 crew members and six passengers — among the 3,711 people on board.
