London: British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has resigned. Several ministers have resigned recently on protest at Boris Johnson’s leadership and hence , the decision.
” It is clearly the will of the parliamentary Conservative party that there should be a new leader of that party, and therefore a new prime minister,” Johnson said.
However, Boris Johnson has informed that he will continue as the PM till a new leader is appointed by the conservative party.
Boris Johnson was holding office for the second consecutive term. He had faced harsh criticisms even from his close allies as his decisions were often biased.
