Washington: Government seized several documents from the residence of the former US President Donald Trump. There were about 300 documents that belong to the FBI, CIA, and the National Security Agency. The officials said that the documents have secret information regarding different sectors of the nation.
The investigation agency had found the folders at the beginning of this year. But, Trump had alleged that all these actions are baseless with an only aim to target him. Trump also filed a case against the ruling party.
Among them, majority of the documents had carried to his house by Trump during his presidential tenure.
The seized documents are being examined by the investigation agencies. The government had ordered for an investigation to find the reason for the failure of the case.
Trump has filed a case against the Government action. But the court cannot help him as there are strong allegations existing against him.
The Government officials said that they had formed a special team to evaluate the seized documents.
