India is always against violence: Arindam Bagchi wishes speedy recovery to Salman Rushdie
New Delhi: Arindam Bagchi, the Official spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs, condemned the attack against the world renowned novelist Salman Rushdie.
Bagchi was in a conversation with the Delhi press.
India is always against violence and terrorism. Strongly condemn the attack against Salman Rushdie. Let him recover immediately and regain his health, said Arindam Bagchi.
Salman Rushdie was attacked on 12th of this month. Religious extremist Hadi Methar stabbed him in the midst of a public function held in New York. Rushdie was stabbed on his neck and stomach. As he survived the danger, he is still under treatment at a hospital in New York.
