Samarkand: Following Narendra Modi’s statement on the Ukraine conflict, the international media came up praising the Prime Minister of India.
Modi pointed the fault of Russia and said that this is not the time for war. After this, Putin announced immediately that the war will end soon. The PM conveyed his statement in a bilateral discussion that was conducted as part of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit held in Uzbekistan. The prominent US media has also praised Modi’s statement.
Modi said that this is not a time for war and this was already told by phone earlier. As a reply Putin said that Russia will soon end the war and are aware of India’s concern over the issue but Ukraine is not interested in any discussion on this. Putin also said that they will inform India of all matters regarding this.
Several nations have come up in support of India’s statement. John Kirby, the coordinator of Strategic Communications of the National Security Council, said that Russia is being isolated through their actions. Antony Blinkon, the US State Secretary, said that with Russia, India discussed the concerns of the world.
