London: President Draupadi Murmu reached London to attend the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II and to represent India. A team led by the foreign secretary Vinay Kwathra have been accompanying her on the visit. The Indian High Commissioner had received the Indian President from the airport.
US President Joe Biden and the first lady Jill Biden will also attend the function. Ahead of the funeral function on Monday, the national leaders who visit London to attend the funeral ceremony of Queen Elizabeth II will sign in the condolence book kept at the Lancaster house at Westminster Hall.
Meanwhile, the Chinese representatives will not get permission to attend the function. Although the official list of the attendees is not yet published, the list of countries that are not participating in the function has already been published. Russia, Belarus, Afghanistan, Myanmar, Syria and Venezuela are among this list.
