Sharjah: Census is in progress to collect population data of Sharjah Emirate. Officials of the Department of Statistics and Community Development informed that the data of natives and foreigners will be collected during the five-month census.
The government came up with the data collection seven years after the 2015 census. According to the vision of Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasim, a member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, the authorities clarified that the census is to raise the standard of living of the people of the emirate. This time the census campaign will be held on the theme ‘You Count’.
