New Delhi: India has become the 90th venue of Interpol General Assembly. The International Criminal Police Organisation or Interpol is the biggest international police force. PM Narendra Modi will address the Interpol General Assembly that is being held in Delhi, today.
From today onwards, the meeting will be held at Pragati Maidan till 21. Central-State ministers and Chief police officers will be a part of the meeting. 195 member countries of Interpol will also join the meeting.
Leon in France is the headquarters of Interpol. The annual meeting is being held to take crucial decisions on the working of the association. After 25 years, India became the venue of the Interpol General Assembly again this year. Currently, the president of the Interpol is Ahammad Nassar Al Raisiya from UAE. He was selected in the 89th Interpol meeting that was held IN Turkey last year.
The cooperation with the nations beyond the border is getting possible through the Interpol. It will help to share the details of the culprits across the nations and to locate them. It is even possible to share information between nations that have no diplomatic connections.
