Tehran: Terrifying news comes from Iran following the anti-hijab protests. Report says that a 16 year old girl named Azra Pahani was beaten to death by the security staff for refusing to sing a song praising Iran’s leader Ayatollah Ali Khomeini . The girl was beaten up in the classroom.
The incident took place last week at Shaheed Girls High School in the north-western city of Ardabil. The security personnel, who reached the school for inspection, had asked the girl and her friends to sing a song in praise of Khomeini. The 16 year old girl Azra Pehani refused to sing the song and was beaten up brutally by the security personnel. She was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries but could not save her life.
It is said that the inspection was conducted to analyse the anti-hijab protests that have been held in the place since some days.
The anti-hijab protest got accelerated after the death of a 22 year old girl named Mahsa Amini, who was arrested by the morality police for not wearing the hijab properly.
