Yoon Suk-yeol declares mourning period over the disaster in South Korea

Seoul: President Yoon Suk-yeol today announced a national day of mourning in South Korea after several people died in a stampede during the Halloween celebration. He also ordered the lowering of the flag as part of this. Tragedy happened during Halloween celebrations in South Korea on Saturday.

The President said that he cannot express his grief. He added that the few days from now until the disaster is brought under control will be a period of national mourning.

Expressing condolences over the deaths, Yoon wished the injured a speedy recovery. During his address, Yoon said the government will ensure support for the funeral preparations of the people who lost their lives in the deadly incident.

The most important thing is to find the cause of the accident and prevent similar accidents. He added that the country’s ministry and other departments will conduct an urgent review of Halloween celebrations and other local festivals to ensure security.

At the same time, there are also people from Iran, Uzbekistan, China and Norway among the victims. Most of them are young people from different places. About 270 people are missing.
A tragedy occurred during the Halloween celebration in South Korea. Due to the stampede, the people were suffering from breathlessness and cardiac arrest. The preliminary conclusion is that the cause of the accident was that the people who had gathered for the celebration went on a narrow road. Many people have been hospitalized.
