Washington: Former President Donald Trump has announced his candidacy for the 2024 American elections. Trump announced his candidacy at the Mar- a- Lago resort in Florida. Trump is the first leader to officially announce his candidacy.
Trump said during the announcement that America’s comeback has begun. During his administration, America went through its golden age. “We have conquered all enemies. The nation rose to prosperity”, he said. He also stated that we have made necessary preparations for the future.
When he left the presidency in 2020, Trump gave hints about his return. Apart from this, Trump’s long-time advisor Jason Miller had earlier said that there will be an announcement soon regarding the 2024 election. Trump was elected as the 45th President of the United States in 2016. But in the last election, Biden defeated Trump and came to power.
