GAZA: As a response to ongoing Israeli airstrikes that have killed 15 Palestinians, including three senior Islamic Jihad leaders, the Palestinian militants fired dozens of rockets from the Gaza strip into Israel on Wednesday.
It is reported that Palestinian militants have fired more than 60 rockets towards Israel after the Israeli military said it carried out a series of air strikes on Islamic Jihad rocket launchers.
There are no reports of any serious injuries in Israel, where most rockets are said to have been intercepted.
The media reported that Hamas, the group running the Gaza strip, said the rockets launched from there were an answer to the massacre committed by the Israeli occupation.
The bombardment comes a day after Israeli forces attacked Gaza city and its environs killing 15 people including four children, in what they said was an operation targeting Islamic Jihad leaders.
