Dr. Alain Labrique, Digital Health and Innovation Director of the World Health Organization (WHO), appreciates India’s systematic and strategic approach to building a robust digital health landscape. While praising India in the meeting held at Hyderabad as a part of the G20 conference, he said the utilisation of digital systems in health care should be learned from India.
Labrique said that the field of health care is on the verge of a significant digital revolution at the global level. He also added that the use of digital technology has increased in a greater way than before due to the COVID period. The world should learn from the achievements of countries, including India, regarding this.
In his speech, he said that digital technology should be used for the growth of the health sector around the world. He also lauded India for prioritising growth through digital technology in the health sector and welcomed India for giving space for these kinds of discussions at the G20 summit.
