Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, has issued a call for young individuals to apply for ministerial positions within the UAE Cabinet. He has emphasized that both young men and women are encouraged to participate in the cabinet, making inclusivity a priority. Sheikh Mohammed conveyed this invitation to the country’s youth through social media platform X.

We are inviting young individuals with qualities such as creative thinking and strong interpersonal skills to join the cabinet. We seek individuals who can represent the youth, understand their issues, and find solutions. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, in the post inviting applications, stated that those selected will become the Minister of Youth in the UAE Cabinet and emphasised that applicants must have knowledge about the UAE.

Applications should be submitted via email to the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs as part of the initiative to bring the new generation of leaders into key leadership positions. In 2016, Shamma bint Sohail Faris Al Mazrui was appointed as the Minister of State for Youth Affairs at the age of 22, making her the youngest minister in the world.
