Paris: France has shown its support for Israel amidst the ongoing conflict with Hamas terrorists by illuminating the iconic Eiffel Tower in blue. The striking display of solidarity took place on Monday night in Paris, with Israel’s national anthem, ‘Hatikvah,’ playing in the background. The event was attended by a diverse crowd, including Israeli citizens, who gathered to witness the symbolic gesture.
This special declaration of solidarity has resonated widely, with numerous people sharing videos and images of the illuminated Eiffel Tower on social media platforms. Simultaneously, it was confirmed that citizens from more than twenty countries had tragically lost their lives or been kidnapped by Hamas terrorists in Israel.
Israel also confirmed, for the first time, that 30 individuals had been abducted by Hamas and taken to Gaza. The number of casualties resulting from rocket attacks by Hamas has now exceeded 900. Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has confirmed his concerns about the presence of armed Hamas groups in residential areas.
