The tweet, in which she asserted that the country had surrendered to religious extremism, has drawn widespread criticism on social media platforms.
Divya’s tweet featured an image of cricket fans holding the BJP flag during the World Test Championship (WTC) final between India and New Zealand at The Oval in London, with the caption, “Remember this?! Ok. This country is lost to the religious extremists. I really really hope PAK will win this World Cup.”
