Instagram is set to introduce a new feature that promises to enhance the user experience. Along with the existing ‘Following’ and ‘Favorites’ feeds, Instagram is introducing a feed called ‘Meta Verified.’ The primary objective behind this move is to give heightened visibility to posts from users and brands who opt for Instagram’s paid subscription services.
In addition to the ‘Following’ and ‘Favorites’ feeds, the introduction of ‘Meta Verified’ aims to provide users with more control over their feed by enabling the separation of brands and creators into separate categories. The detailed information about its functionality is yet to be revealed.
Currently, Instagram is offering ‘Meta Verified’ as a subscription service. For Facebook web users, the monthly fee for ‘Meta Verified’ is set at Rs 599, while for iOS and Android users, it is charged at Rs 699. Subscribers to this service get the benefits of Meta’s additional services and verification badges, creating a more interactive experience for verified users.
