Union Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju presented medals to the winners during ISSF Shooting World Cup at the Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range for the Women’s 25m Pistol final.
He presented medals to the winners, gold medal to Chinki Yadav, silver medal to Rahi Sarnobat and bronze medal to Manu Bhaker.
Earlier in the day, youngster Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar won the gold medal in the men’s 50m Rifle 3 Position event. India maintains their position at the top of the medal tally with 9 gold, 5 silver and 5 bronze.
Rijiju complimented the shooters for the performances at this World Cup, which is one of the first major global competitions to be held after the coronavirus lockdown.
