Dubai: Cricket enthusiasts and players alike are gearing up for the much-anticipated mini-auction of the Indian Premier League (IPL), scheduled to take place in Dubai tomorrow. This auction, a precursor to the 2024 season, presents a lucrative opportunity for the ten participating teams to secure valuable players.

The auction, set to unfold at 1 p.m. at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai, holds the potential to transform the fortunes of cricketers, including local stars. Representatives from each of the ten teams will be present, vying to make strategic bids for players that can enhance their squad dynamics.

For those eager to witness the auction drama, the event will be telecast live on Star Sports Networks. Additionally, viewers can catch the action online through Jio Cinema.

With 333 players shortlisted for 77 available slots, the competition is fierce. The auction list includes 30 slots reserved for foreign players, with a total of 214 Indian players, 119 foreign players, and two from associate countries. Among the hopefuls, 215 are uncapped players, adding an element of unpredictability to the proceedings.

The Gujarat Titans find themselves in a favourable position with a budget of 38.15 crores, allowing them to potentially acquire eight players. Lucknow Supergiants, with 13.15 crores at their disposal, are poised to make strategic moves, eyeing six players, including two foreign players.
