Thiruvananthapuram: Once again, Bharat regains the top of the World Test Championship points table, in the ICC’s updated rankings. This shift occurred after New Zealand, the former toppers, suffered a defeat to Australia in a recent match.
With an impressive points average of 64.58, Bharat has surged ahead to claim the top position, while New Zealand now trailing closely behind in second place with an average of 60.00 points. Following them in the rankings are Australia, Pakistan, and West Indies.
Bharat’s ascent to the top was fueled by their victorious Test series against England, solidifying their position as a formidable force in international cricket. Now, with the final test set to commence on March 7 in Dharamshala, Team Bharat has the opportunity to further solidify their dominance and strengthen their hold on the rankings.
