Bengaluru: Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister and senior BJP leader Ananth Kumar’s body cremated with full state honours here in Bengaluru.

Ananth Kumar’s mortal remains were kept at his residence in Basavanagudi and then was taken to Jagannath Bhavan, BJP state office at Malleswaram. Hundreds of people including politicians paid their last respect to Ananth Kumar at National College Ground also.

Ananth Kumar’s last rites were performed at Chjamarajpete cremetorium.

Ananth Kumar passed away in Bengaluru at 2.30 am last day . He had been undergoing treatment for cancer at Sankara Cancer Hospital.

BJP leaders including Vice President Venkaiah Naidu,Loksabha speaker Sumithra Mahajan,L K Advani,Home Minister Rajnath Singh were among those who attended the cremation.
