Belagavi: In an attempt to curb surge in Covid-19 positive cases in its second phase, the District administration has ordered total lockdown on May 29 and 30 from 0600 hrs to May 31 0600 hrs and ATM and Banks will remain closed for two days.
In an official order, Deputy Commissioner Mahantesh G Hiremut said that, Covid-19 cases are increasing in the district and a huge number of Covid-19 patients are coming to the government hospitals. Hence the District administration decided to impose total Lockdown from tomorrow morning to May 31 in the district. Only essential services are allowed.
The District Lead Bank Manager informed the media that as per the directions of the Deputy Commissioner all the Banks and ATMs will also remain closed for two days from tomorrow.
