Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala likely to receive isolated heavy rain. As per reports, the central and northern districts will receive heavy rainfall today.
Yellow alert has been issued to three districts including Malappuram, Kannur and Kasaragod.
Meanwhile, the IMD has informed chances for heavy rain in Kerala till 22 July. The intensity of the law pressure in the Arabian sea has subsided. Another low pressure still exists over north east Vidarbha and adjoining areas. Monsoon trough has shifted from its normal path towards the north.
The yellow alert instructions for the coming days are as follows:
20-07-2022: Palakkad, Malappuram, Kannur, Kasaragod
21-07-2022: Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Idukki, Palakkad, Malappuram
22-07-2022: Idukki, Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram
An alert for heavy rain has been issued which means, a rainfall of 64.5 mm to 115.5 mm in 24 hours.
