Thiruvananthapuram: As per the report of IMD, the state is expecting heavy rain in the next four days. Due to this, the state has issued alerts for several districts.
Ernakulam, Idukki, Thrissur, Malappuram, Kozhikode, have yellow alert today. The districts Kottayam, Ernakulam, Idukki, have yellow alert tomorrow. Yellow Alert is issued for Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Idukki on Wednesday and on Thursday for Kottayam and Idukki.
As per the report, the rain will subside by Friday, this week and only Idukki district has alert on Friday.
Meanwhile, since today morning the state has been receiving heavy rainfall. IMD has informed that the state will be receiving heavy rain in the coming hours too.
