Thiruvananthapuram: The Central Meteorological Department has warned that heavy rain will continue in the state for two more days. A yellow alert has been issued in Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Idukki, Ernakulam, and Malappuram due to the possibility of heavy rains today.
Heavy rain was recorded in North Malabar yesterday. The water level in Kannur Bavali river has risen. The water level in the Bavali River may have risen due to the landslide in Kottiyoor. Many people in this area have been relocated. The water level in Chaliyar river has also risen.
