Thiruvananthapuram: The Meteorological Center has said that there is a possibility of low pressure in the Bay of Bengal. According to the Meteorological Department, a cyclonic circulation may form over the Andaman Sea, which may reach northwest Bay of Bengal and become a low pressure. In this situation, heavy rain may be received in the state from Saturday, according to the Meteorological Center.
A cyclonic circulation is likely to form over the North Andaman Sea by Tuesday. It has moved in a north-west direction and is likely to become a low pressure by October 20, the Meteorological Center has predicted. Based on this, a yellow alert has been issued for the coming days.
