New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah praised the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, emphasising the remarkable strides India has taken in terms of business and growth. Shah commented on the Prime Minister’s implementation of technology-driven initiatives, such as the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), which has successfully brought government services to every home. All these steps have resulted in a significant surge in digital transactions.
The Home Minister highlighted through tweets the Modi government’s thrust on the use of technology for the benefit of people with the hashtag #9YearsOfTechForGrowth. “The Prime Minister, Narendra Modi Ji, fostered progress through technology. The exponential surge in digital transactions made business easier; Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) took government services to every home; and start-ups gave India’s space industry a competitive edge,” he said. He also added that, from quantum technology to green hydrogen, the Prime Minister nurtured research and development in India.
Amit Shah is scheduled to address gatherings in multiple states today, where he will discuss India’s growth under the Prime Minister’s leadership and celebrate the nine years of success achieved by the central government. The meetings are set to take place in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh; Patan, Gujarat; Nanded, Maharashtra; and Vellore, Tamil Nadu.
