Kolkata: One person arrested with fake notes worth Rs 1.5 lakhs. Majibur Rahman (42), a resident of Malda Mohabatpur, was the arrested. The accused was caught by STF personnel and police at Gostho Paul Sarani in Kolkata.
Based on confidential information indicating the smuggling of counterfeit currency, the police and the Special Task Force jointly conducted a search in the area, resulting in the seizure of fake currency. STF officials have stated that further legal action will be taken against the accused.
