Tata Nexon EV becomes the preferred car for the Climate Change Mitigation Expedition in Kerala

Kerala: India’s best-selling electric vehicle, the Tata Nexon EV joins the upcoming Climate Change Mitigation Expedition in Kerala, as their Sustainable Mobility partner. Ten extraordinary individuals from across India, handpicked by Cherish Expeditions, will embark on a self-driven tour from Kochi to Alleppey with an intention to collectively experience a community-based impact initiative towards climate mitigation.

Designed to reduce the carbon footprint, the Tata Nexon EV, perfectly supports the movement towards building a community of conscious travelers taking a positive step forward in the alarming climate change crisis. This year, the expedition will take place over 7 days from December 13th to 19th, with Tata Nexon EV being the lead car, covering an average distance of 40-50 kilometers per day.

In an event held here in Kerala, the expedition was flagged-off by K.Rupeshkumar, State Responsible Tourism Mission Coordinator, WTM Outstanding Achievement Award Winner, Nadirshah – Product Specialist EVBU Tata Motors, in the presence of Cherish Manjooran, Climate Advocate, CEO & Founder at Cherish Expeditions. Organised by Cherish Expedition, this expedition aims at achieving Climate Action and Life Below Water which are United Nations Sustainable Development Goals – UNSDG 13 & 14 and is executed in association with The Lake Protection Forum, Vembanad, and knowledge partners, Ashoka Trust for Research in Ecology and Environment (ATREE). The future of mobility in India is electric and Tata Motors’ products are well positioned to cater to the consumer of the future.

Tata Motors has been leading the way in driving the conversation on electric mobility in India through the medium of products such as the Nexon EV and the Tigor EV. Furthermore, to help accelerate the adoption of EVs in India, the company has also introduced a holistic e-mobility ecosystem “Tata uniEVerse” to closely leverage the strengths and experience of other Tata Group companies to create a viable EV environment. Powered by Tata uniEVerse, consumers will have access to a suite of e-mobility offerings including charging solutions, innovative retail experiences and easy financing options.
