New Delhi: The Indian government will soon give clearance to security forces to shoot down drones that is flying across the border and flying below 1000 feet. This is to bring down the menace of drones which aids in infiltrations by Pakistani based terrorists. The final clearance will be given by relevant agencies.
The final clearance will be given after further deliberations because there is a concern that sometimes aeroplanes might fly at low height.
Government sources told media, “Security agencies deployed along the international border have been given the clearance to shoot down drone crossing the boundary and flying at 1,000 feet and below.”
The Border Security Forces (BSF) have spotted small drones crossing the border in Punjab. The security forces have caught these drones trying to supply rifles and also drugs into Indian territory.
