Kupwara: The Indian Army who launched a massive artillery attack on the terror launchpads in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) claims to have also killed 10 Pakistan Army soldiers. Several others have also been injured.
This comes in retaliation to the firing by Pakistan at Indian positions to push infiltrators from terrorist groups in the Tangdhar sector that took lives of two Indian soldiers and a civilian.
According to the sources, the Indian Army which had specific intelligence about the presence of terrorists in launch pads across the Line of Control (LoC), started targeting the launch pads to prevent the infiltration of the Pakistan Army-sponsored terrorists.
An Indian Army spokesperson said, “Indian Army retains the right to respond at a time and place of it’s choosing in case Pakistan Army continues to assist terrorist activities across Indian borders.”
The terror launch pads were operated by the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).
