Muscat: The joint exercise between the Indian Air Force (IAF) and the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO), “Ex Eastern Bridge-V” has ended, said IAF on Saturday.

Along with MiG-29s, Omani Eurofighter Typhoons, F-16s and Hawk aircraft were fielded by India for the exercise at the RAFO base in Masirah.
This was the maiden participation by the IAF’s , MiG-29 UPG aircraft in an international exercise. The aircraft is a modern multi-role fighter jet, with air-to-air and air-to-ground capability, coupled with air-to-air refuelling.
