Bihar: Thousands gathered on Friday at Vaishali to pay tribute and give final good-bye to Sepoy Jai Kishore Singh who laid down his life in Ladakh’s Galwan Valley during the violent faceoff between India and China.
The mass raised slogans of Vande Mataram and Bharat Mata ki Jai.
Singh was also given a guard of honour before his last rites were conducted.
Meanwhile, India is gearing up to counter all the provocations from the Chinese side and as per reports, fighter aircrafts have been moved to forward bases by the Indian Air Force.
