Ladakh: Chief of Army Staff General MM Naravane on Wednesday visited forward areas in eastern Ladakh and reviewed operational situation on the ground.
Recollecting the valiant fight against Chinese troops during the violent face-off in the Galwan valley, the Army Chief commended the troops for their high morale and exhorted them to continue working with zeal and enthusiasm.

He also awarded them with Commendation Cards for their bravery during the clash.
On Tuesday, Naravane also interacted with soldiers at the Military Hospital in Leh who sustained injuries during the violent clashes at the Galwan valley.
