Dehradun: The Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) has deployed more forces along the India-Nepal border from Pithogarh’s Dharchula to Kalapani.
The development comes amid escalating tensions between Kathmandu and New Delhi over a new map by Nepal that has staked claim over some Indian territories.
According to reports, the Uttarakhand’s open border with Nepal has been sealed. The SSB jawans are guarding the lesser populated area on the Nepal border.
