Ladakh: According to reports, a firing has took place on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Eastern Ladakh sector where troops of India and China have been on a conflict over the border issue.
This comes days after India thwarted Chinese army’s attempt to transgress into Indian areas near the southern bank of Pangong Tso near Chushul in Ladakh.
India also recently outflanked China and took control of strategic height near Pangong lake’s southern bank.
China on the early hours of Tuesday claimed that the Indian army crossed the Line of Actual Control (LAC). It further also claimed that the India troops fired “warning shots” near the Pangong Tso lake in eastern Ladakh to which their soldiers took “countermeasures”.
Meanwhile, talks between both the countries have been going on since three months including five Lieutenant general and a Brigadier-level talks. However, it has failed to yield good results.
