An aircraft of the Indian Air Force has airlifted the consignment for construction of Oxygen Plant in Nagaland and landed in Dimapur Airport yesterday.
According to official report today the Indian Air Force carried out a special cross country flight from Ahmadabad via Allahabad with the left over Compressors and equipment for activation of much needed oxygen plant for Nagaland state, the major consignment was initially airlifted by Chandigarh based IL 76 aircraft from Delhi last week.
The consignment weighing approx 3 tons was handed over to EAC Chumukedima, who is the Coordinating Officer in Dimapur airport yesterday, which would further proceed to their designated destination at Dimapur and Mokokchung by road.
The IAF completed its 13 special Airlift mission in aid of State Government administration of Nagaland carrying approx 96 tons of critical Covid related equipment since the beginning of pandemic last year.
